Spring has Sprung!

April showers bring May flowers.

We are on target! Beautiful rains and now days of sunshine. Birds are singing and spring is in full force.

We’ve eaten our first few meals of asparagus. Yesterday was our first kale spinach salad. Delectable!! And today we plan on a radish sandwich.

Welcome Spring and all your deliciousness!!

Beautiful Rains

We have received beautiful rains! So many folks suffered from hail and storms but Seedtime’s crops are untouched and beautiful. Thank you, Lord.

Delicious

Our spinach and mixed lettuces are tender and delicious. Radishes are fat and round, juicy, crunchy, with little or no spice. Very delicious!

Market Opens for the Season

Falls Park Farmers Market opens May 3 at 8:00 am for the 2014 season.

Seedtime will be there! We will bring a selection of hybrid tomato plants, peppers, and herbs. More varieties and many heirloom tomatoes will be available in the following weeks.

If the weather is other than balmy, we will keep our plants protected in the trailer and display only signage. Please shop the Farmers Markets for your planting needs. Keep your dollars LOCAL!

Spring is Late

Our tomato, pepper, and herb plants are growing quickly in our all-organic fiber pots. It might be a bit early to set these healthy plants out into your garden. If you can protect them with milk jugs, cartons or tomato cages wrapped in plastic, start planting! These plants will need protection from strong winds. Introduce them to the great outdoors for a few hours a day.
